Beside the old fishing lodge, the Wharemanu Exhibition Space & Archives contains guest artist display, "The bird" (Torea Mangu) history and development information as well as archival information of Tony's art works. It is a modern, stand alone space with expansive views from it's front deck across the Firth of Thames to the Coromandel Peninsula. Kaiaua is just over an hour's drive from Auckland and sits at the foot of the Hunua Ranges on the western coastline of the Thames Isthmus. |
